Wow, I'm kinda surprised someone is making the switch so soon. I do plan to move over, but have had several problems. Its been slow as heck, hasn't updated the few feeds I've already added. And worst of all, it refuses to import my bloglines feeds.

Question, were you feeds arranged in folders at bloglines? I'm wondering if maybe that has something to do with mine not being imported.

Wesley, actually my feeds were NOT organized into folders. That might be the key. Try flattening your OPML file and try importing again.

Yeah, actually, it looks like folders are needlessly redundant in Google Reader. It uses tags, just like Gmail or del.icio.us.

I'm very surprised you are switching. I've been using bloglines for about 8 months now, and absolutely love it. I find Google Reader far more cumbersome and unintuitive to use, and the web 2.0ness of it just tends to get in my way.

I'm a HUGE fan of Gmail, but I just can't buy into Google Reader.
Good luck with your switch.
