I think my brain goes into survival mode. I get really focused. The same goes for occasions when carefully made plans get screwed up (e.g. on vacation when a flight is cancelled or something else goes wrong) and I have to improvise on the spur of the moment. I don't understand people who say they prefer to work under pressure though. Just because I can do it doesn't mean it's fun. I think I have some stress disorders, especially when I take tests. I sometimes have near panic attacks when taking tests. Anyway, I'm not sure about you, but being busy is one thing that keeps me stress-free, as long as I feel that I'm making progress. Just remember that there's no real deadline when the house and everything has to be perfect.
